The book I chose to do my book review on is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, It is the third book in the series. There are 6 books so far. The author is Joanne Kathleen Rowling (also known as J.K. Rowling). She was born in Chipping Sodbury near Bristol, England in 1965. She has won the Hugo award, th eBram Stoker award, the Whitbread awardfor best childrens book as well as many honors. In america there are over 103 million books in print, each title has been number 1 on the New York times, USA today and Wall st. journal bestseller lists. The book is about Sirius Black who is actually Harry’s godfather, escapes from the prison of Azkaban (prison for wizards) and goes to Hogwarts to find Harry. But Harry believes that Sirius turned against his parents and lead them to Lord Voldemort but it was actually someone else..

I liked this book because it was full of adventure, magic and surprises and you could not put the book down because you never know what is going to happen next…

..[ Juggling with Mandarins ]..

Once you have set up your blog and figured out how you want it to look I would like you to write an entry about Juggling Mandarins. What issues do you think the book deals with? What parts did you enjoy and why or why not? Are there any bits you don’t understand? Who was your favourite character and why? Did you think that the ending regarding Pip and Katie would be different? Why is the book called Juggling Mandarins?
My favourite part of the book was when Pip first went into the igloo to explore it before it had even been opened.
There wasn’t any parts in the book which I didn’t understand.
My favourite character would have to be Pip because I think I can relate to him quite well and I can understand what he is going through.
I think that Pip and Katie should have worked things out and become friends again.
I think the book is called Juggling with mandarins because it is about the way Pip juggles his life…
